St Alexander Nevsky Russian School, Strathfield

About our school
St Alexander Nevsky Russian School is a Saturday community school for Russian-speaking children, dedicated to nurturing Orthodox Christian values alongside language and culture. At the heart of our curriculum is the Law of God, helping children grow in their faith while deepening their connection to Russian traditions.

Our mission is to preserve and strengthen Russian heritage through a range of subjects, including Russian language, history, and music. We strive to create a warm, community-focused environment where families and teachers work together to support each child's learning journey.

We are located in Strathfield, just a short walk from the train station. Lessons take place on Saturdays from 8:50 AM, following the NSW school term schedule.

The school is proudly run by a Parents' Committee, which oversees administration, finances, and the organisation of celebrations and events that bring our community together.

New families are always welcome—join us in preserving faith, language, and tradition!
